At least 2 people were killed and 14 others were injured in a shootout overnight from Saturday to Sunday in Greenville, Texas.
The shooting took place at an off-campus party at Texas A & M University, says Buddy Oxford, deputy chief of the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office.
Speaking to the media, Oxford said there was only one gunman and the police were still searching for the suspect.
He did not say anything about the condition of the 14 wounded, but pointed out that the victims were young people, probably university students.
Some 750 people were present at the party, said Oxford, who said the shooting began 15 minutes after the arrival of the police, called to the scene following complaints about parking.
